Fireflies

I adore fireflies,the insect and song by Owl City. When I was 8 last spring I went outside to play with our dogs in the afternoon, I joyfully played though the back yard trying to catch grasshoppers. I realized it was getting late but I just kept playing. I then saw a little light on the grass tried to catch it but failed. I did not know what it was but the next night I went out there and watched and wrote what I had seen in my notebook then searched it up and....It was a Firefly! 💛
